DELIVERY AND RETURNS POLICY

Delivery Policy

Most orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Personalized orders may take up to 5-business days for processing. Deliveries can take 1-3 business days after order processing.

It is the customer’s responsibility to order the correct size of Flue type and Fireplace for your chimney or place of fitting, incorrect measurements will incur a 40% replacement fee.

Out of Stock Products

Most of the products on the our website http://merseysidefireplaces.co.uk are always in stock but on occasions some of our products may not be available and can take up to 6 weeks before delivery, for this reason please contact us for availability before ordering

Damaged Deliveries:

We try our best to prevent damage to all packages during transit by packing each order carefully.  Unfortunately, there will be the occasional damaged shipment.  In this case, please hold onto all of the packaging and receipts contact us immediately. 

Please make sure that you do not discard any part of the packaging.  Carefully describe the condition of the packaging material and the ordered items.  A representative of the delivery company may pick up the package from your location in order to inspect the damage. Because we insure all of our packages, we will try our best to replace the damaged items for you as soon as possible. 

Return Policy

We supply our products in excellent conditions in the event of damaged goods we will replace for free. We will not accept returns of products which are damaged after delivery. All requests for refunds must be communicated to us within 24 hours of receiving the order. All requests for missing items or incomplete orders must be communicated within 24 hours of receiving the order. Delivery charges are non-refundable, customers will receive a charge back for delivery cost before they are credited.

When choosing a courier for returns of goods to us we will need to inspect them first if your courier will not allow this, we will refuse the delivery and the goods will stay with them bear in mind this will incur further cost to you. The cost of returning goods is the customer responsibility and a return form has to be completed.  

Undeliverable or Refused deliveries:

Packages will be delivered back to the supplier, if the customer either refuses the package, is not available for the delivery, or if the address entered is either incorrect or incomplete.  In this case, the customer will be responsible for all delivery charges.  If the customer chooses not to have the item redelivered, they will be subject to a 20% restocking fee before they are credited back for the items.  Once the order is delivered, it may not be refused due to the nature of the product and delays in delivery or order processing.

Your order must be returned in its originally boxed condition. Please fill in our returns form before doing so, so that we may give you return instructions. If customers paid with a credit card, we will "credit" their card for the refund amount in a timely manner. Defective products can be returned for replacement of the same exact product. All returned merchandise must be delivered prepaid freight. No refunds are given past 3-days of purchase date.

Personalized items, or orders made to order are non-refundable. We are not responsible if the customer has provided the wrong instructions, wrong date, or incorrect or misspelled text, so please verify your dates and spelling of the text content very carefully. Shipping charges are non-refundable. If we made a printing error, the product will need to be returned to us.

All requests for refunds must be communicated to us within 3 days of receiving the order. We will either reprint the order, or refund their purchase price. In an effort to provide the best quality product, we reserve the right to modify our wrapper/label designs of the personalized products at any time without notification. All returned merchandise must be shipped prepaid freight.

Other Considerations

We try our best to provide you with as much information about our products as possible. However, please be aware that product images may not be exact; they may be from a previous model or similar type. Prices, products, availability and offers are subject to change without notice. Merseyside Fireplaces.co.uk is not responsible for graphical display or typographical errors.

Deliveries Outside our areas

Merseyside Fireplaces.co.uk Only supply and deliver, our physical products anywhere in the local and surrounding areas of Merseyside. If you live outside our areas and would like any of our products or information please contact us first through the contact page as this incurs extra charges

Offline transactions

If you wish to purchase any of our products offline, for example over the phone or by cheque, please fill out the form on our contact page or call us on 0151 733 2260 and we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange payment & delivery.

Paypal Payments

All payment transactions on this website are made through Paypal, we accept all major Credit Cards, after payment is made your Paypal receipt and your card statement will carry the name Mr A F Johnston the owner of Merseyside fireplaces.

Paypal and Credit Cards Refunds

If you opt for a refund directly from us Merseyside Fireplaces.co.uk when paying with Paypal or any Credit Card for whatever reason whether damaged or out of stock items a charge for handling will be deducted from refund payments, unless you claim direct from the payment system you originally used. This will be at our discretion and your statutory rights will not be affected.

If you are un-sure about using your Credit Card on the internet for security reasons? All our payment processing is done by PayPal, the most secure payment method on the internet. With Paypal you don’t have to have a credit card, you can fund payments a number of other ways. For example you can link your Paypal account with your general Bank account and fund payments by transferring small amounts of money back and forth whenever you wish to make a purchase. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made within 24-hours of placing an order. Since an order can be shipped in less than 24-hours cancelling orders is not always possible.
